NIST Certification and Testing - In collaboration with ONC, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has developed the functional and conformance testing requirements, test cases, and test tools to support the proposed Health IT Certification Programs.

Meaningful Use Stage 2: Quality Measure Value Sets from NLM - The National Library of Medicine (NLM) Value Set Authority Center (VSAC) provides downloadable access to all official versions of vocabulary Value Sets contained in Clinical Quality Measures that support Meaningful Use Stage 2. The value sets provide lists of the numerical values and individual names from standard vocabularies used to define the clinical concepts (e.g. diabetes, clinical visit) used in the quality measures. Access to the Value Set Authority Center requires a free Unified Medical Language System® Metathesaurus License.

Meaningful Use Stage 1 and Stage 2 Core and Menu Objective information - Components of the Meaningful Use initiative including the 2014 Meaningful Use clinical quality measures (CQMs), their associated value sets, and the Meaningful Use Stage 2 Core and Menu Objectives are available on the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) USHIK website.

Guidance for Pharmacy Use of HL7 EHR Functional Profile – This document is to provide guidance to pharmacy system vendors to incorporate Electronic Health Record functionality using the HL7 EHR-S Functional Profile: Meaningful Use, Release 1 - US Realm (MU EHR-S FP) and demonstrate the value for adoption by the pharmacy industry to facilitate interoperability.
