NCPDP's Educational Summit offering a full day of educational sessions on topics that matter most to our members who represent virtually every stakeholder group in the healthcare industry. The Educational Summit takes place right before NCPDP’s November work group meetings, giving work group attendees and others the opportunity to extend their stay and attend this important event that explores healthcare’s most pressing challenges and solutions. The Educational Summit is open to members and nonmembers and registration is required to participate. The Non-member registration includes admission to the Summit and the November Work Group meetings. Plus, Non-members have until the end of January the following year to apply $150 of their registration fee towards their NCPDP membership. Past Educational Summits have covered a variety of topics, including Continuity of Care: What’s Working, What’s Missing, What’s Next; NCPDP’s SCRIPT Standard V2017071; Community Care of North Carolina Model; Impact of Federal Legislation on the Healthcare Industry; California Provider Status Update; The Role of Health IT in Quality Health Care; Role of NCPDP Standards in Health Information Exchanges (HIEs); Pharmacy in Accountable Care; Specialty Pharmacy, and more. CPE for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians can earn Continuing Pharmacy Education hours from the ACPE from the Institute of Wellness and Education.
